Adds Staff, Branch Offices and New Website in Year of Expansion
Amsterdam, NY. GIANT Solutions, an engineering-based design, consulting, and implementation firm specializing in all facets of Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and Small Cell solutions, announced it has significantly expanded its business operations in 2015.
“To meet the demands of our growing business, and maintain the unparalleled service that our customers are accustomed to, we added key positions to our leadership team in 2015,” said David Putman. GIANT Solutions is led by Managing Partners David Putman and Scott Stockman, who together founded the company 13 years ago after both working at Sprint.
New positions added to the management team are:
- Senior Vice President, Business Development Eric Pankonin, to develop and lead strategic growth initiatives and operational strategies that ensure a great customer experience.
- Vice President of Strategic Accounts Michael Rosato, to lead the effort in expanding GIANT’s strategic relationships within established accounts, as well as developing new account relationships in both their traditional market segments and new areas of business.
- Office Manager Kayla Bartczak to oversee accounting functions, human resources, and streamline business processes required to grow and maintain new and current customer accounts.
“In terms of expansion, we first focused our efforts on ensuring that we provide the same quality and responsive service our customers deserve and are accustomed to from GIANT in our new areas,” said Eric Pankonin. “That starts with building the relationships with those local contacts to understand their unique needs and those of the individual markets”
“We now have crews positioned across the country covering over 70% of the U.S. population, and growing,” stated Scott Stockman, about the growth in staff and operations. “To support our geographic growth, we first enhanced our RF engineering department with additions at the company headquarters in Amsterdam, NY. “ In addition, project management positions were added and new branch operations were established in Philadelphia, PA to serve the Mid-Atlantic Region, Columbia, SC to serve the Southeast, and Chicago, IL to serve the Mid-West.
Among the large complex In-building and DAS solutions that GIANT provided its wireless carrier and venue customers in 2015 were an extensive 4G LTE to XLTE network upgrade at the Lincoln Financial Field, and a new DAS at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. Of the hundreds of locations built this year, these two locations alone represented more than 2,000,000 square feet of space covered.
To further support growth, GIANT also redesigned and re-launched the company’s website to better focus on its DAS and In-building specialties as well as enhance the customer experience.
