Our breadth of knowledge includes RF engineering/design, project management, team building, sales channel development, and best-in-class strategy adoption. These skills were honed in diverse organizations including the Navy, GE, Time Warner Cable, and
well-known telecoms such as Frontier, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and Sprint.

Dave Putman, Founder, Managing Partner

Now having 23 years of engineering experience, Dave co-founded GIANT Solutions with Scott Stockman in 2002, recognizing a need for sound RF Engineering principles and solutions with the carriers they had previously worked. Dave continues to head the company with Scott and is heavily involved in the design and deployment of customer solutions. Prior to GIANT, Dave served as a RF Engineering Manager for US Unwired, a Sprint affiliate, overseeing the design, site development, network optimization, capacity planning, and FAA/FCC compliance for an 870-site network. He also has held numerous engineering positions with Sprint, allowing him to understand the needs of the customers he serves. Dave served 5 years active duty in the United Stated Navy and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Union College. He splits time living in both Amsterdam and North Creek, NY

Scott Stockman, Founder, Managing Partner

Scott co-founded GIANT Solutions with Dave Putman in 2002 with a focus much as it is today- providing high-level, in-building RF engineering solutions to its carrier and enterprise customers. With 20 years of engineering experience, Scott continues to be a hands-on leader, highly involved with our customer designs and implementations. Before founding GIANT, Scott worked with Putman as a Market Senior RF Engineer at US Unwired, a Sprint affiliate, executing RF build plans of a 400- site network throughout the Northeast. Prior to that, Scott honed his engineering skill and customer insight in various engineering positions at Sprint, its affiliates, and GE Power Systems. Scott holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Union College and resides in Stuyvesant, NY when he’s not performing as a singer/guitarist throughout the region.
